\Three new concept rooms have been born at Kyoto Tower Hotel Annex in 2023!!/ These rooms were established with the desire to provide a place for artists to express themselves while providing visitors to Kyoto with an experience that allows them to feel "Kyoto" through accommodation. The project was launched by inviting students to submit idea sketches as part of their classes. Three rooms were selected after presentations and were completed in February. Enjoy a slightly different hotel stay in a new space filled with the free ideas of three students currently studying at Kyoto City University of Arts! ■Art Room "Kyoto's Clouds" A guest room that "rediscovers the beauty of the ever-changing appearance of Kyoto," inspired by the expression of "clouds" used in picture scrolls. The walls are made of washi paper to represent the mountain ridges surrounding Kyoto, and lights and decorative shelves are placed to imitate the unique Japanese cloud shapes depicted in picture scrolls. You can view the cityscape of Kyoto from an extraordinary space that feels like something out of a story.
